GTA57-70 Since 1953, Garrett has pioneered the development and application of low cost, high perfomance turbochargers. The lastest Garrett larger turbocharger products, the GT60-GT70 family incorporate over forty years of research and development to provide larger turbochargers with a robust design, high efficiency, high temperature capability and a broad compressor range. Two compressor designs and three wheel sizes cover a wide range of pressure ratio and flow requirements.

Due to steady increase in compressor pressure ratio over the years, a great deal of effort went into guaranteeing the mechanical reliability of the compressor, turbine and bearing components. As a result, the GT60-GT70 have a new, larger, robust bearing systemm designed for maximum durability with our largest rotating assemblies. All models use patented, boreless compressor wheel technology, to increase compressor wheel life at high pressure ratios. The seal remain with the proven, highly succesfull GT60 "step bore" design.

All three turbochargers retain the same external dimensions and footprints, thereby ensuring full interchangeability.
